Interesting information.... But I don't get the woman's beef about the graveyard:
"Atlanta woman, with 75 relatives buried at site, charges plan based on racism" Yes mam - the built the fifth runway for the busiest airport in the world (which BTW is named in honor of former mayor Maynard Jackson, the first African-American mayor of Atlanta) right there on next to your ancestors graves based on their race. If she has a beef with anyone, it's the historical society, for letting the graveyard sit there for so long it had to be "rediscovered". I guess some of the blame also rests with the families of the folks buried there. But that wouldn't be very politically correct would it? -Cameron On Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 6:44 PM, Maureen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > My friend Chris finally got back to me about the graveyard at Atlanta Airport. > > Seems they want to move it, and the family is protesting. > > http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/printedition/2008/12/02/claygraves.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:282394 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
