I'm finally taking the plunge into the world of Linux with a fresh install of Ubuntu on a spare Dell desktop, and I have to say I'm kind of excited, confused, enlightened, and overwhelmed all at the same time. It's kinda hard to convert from Windows to Linux, things are done quite differently. For instance, Ubuntu makes it pretty easy to install programs via the package installer, but I'm finding it difficult to get my head wrapped around how one goes about installing something like Navicat, which isn't in the list of available packages.
Guess I'm going to be a Google-aholic for the next few weeks in my "off time".
