McDonald's is pretty frugal with its oil - as somebody who used to filter it I know. ;^) But still - when I was working there they were paying monthly to have the oil hauled away. So saving the money on the waste removal plus the money saved on electricity. McDonald's, as a company, just LOVES stuff like this - I can definitely see them adopting these things if they prove reliable.
