As a former graphic artist/desktop publisher: inDesign, that's what it was created for.
Illustrator is an art program. Creates pretty logos. Pictures. Graphics. As an aside for the google spider: Adobe Illustrator is not, and never will be a tool for creating business cards, letterheads, brochures, etc. Boy that was a huge pet peeve of mine ....
