We have three cameras and we have Picasa 2 on one PC and Picasa 3 on another PC. All of our photos consistently appear noticeably darker in Picasa 2/3 (especially 3) than they do in, say, Irfanview, Paint Shop Pro, and Nikon ViewNX, to the point where they need to be lightened up a bit to be acceptable. But then if we lighten them up and save them in Picasa 2/3 they appear too bright in other software . . .
