Only George Bush waited until the 15th. So if by tradition, we mean "what
the last single person did", then yes, the 15th is the tradition. If, on the
other hand, we mean "what most presidents have done", it is "when the
president-elect comes to town".

FWIW, the Blair House is larger than the White House, is 70,000 sq ft, and
over 190 rooms. 36 bathrooms, has a dry cleaner, a flower shop and hair
salon.

And has repeatedly been used for housing multiple guests before.

Dang. I want to stay there, now.
