OK, so I have this laptop that has Windows Vista home and it is a few months old. Lately, what has been happening is that my applications will sort of start acting weird. Like for instance, I can alt-tab to different apps, but I cannot do anything with them apps. It is like the tool bars and everything else in the apps are locked. Or in my browser, I cannot click on any hyperlinks. When I pull up the task manager though, then close it, everything works fine. Has anyone else seen or heard of this? I would look it up in the MS KB's, but until we get our regular internet hooked up, I am stuck using this little puck looking device that usually does no better than 40 KBPS up and 1-200 KBPS down. Life is hell right now.
