I've taken over fixing the forms and tables on an MS Access database that is
6 yrs old. Its Access 2000. Isn't there a limit that only one user can
add/edit data even though its going through forms because the database is
locked, everyone else gets read only? Or is there a way around this? I've
googled and not seen a clear answer other then Access 2000 is made to
support up to 50 users or less. The client is looking for at least 2-3
people to enter data at the same time. I've googled 2003 and 2007 and can't
find anything about multiple entries (or at least nothing in clear English).
I see the stuff that I should split and give users an mde and keep mdb on
the server but it still doesn't explicitly say this allows multiple people
to enter data at the same time. Anyone?
