The terrorists and socialists are going to love Obama as President, right? Eh, no so much actually.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/18/AR2009011802325.html?hpid=moreheadlines Obama sends a verbal smackdown to Chavez and ties him to FARC in a Spanish-language interview. Chavez retorts with: "There is still time" for Obama to correct his views, the Venezuelan leader said, but he added: "No one should say that I threw the first stone at Obama. He threw it at me." I'm sure that it will all be either ignored or considered some sort of collaboration where the enemy tries to make Obama look good. For my part, I hope that Obama keeps the pressue on Chavez. Chavez had an easy time tossing around his pseudo-populist rhetoric when he had the great while devil of Bush as a foil. I think he is in for a much tougher time with Obama in the White House.
