As a citizen of NC, I wish NC would require ID to vote. I don't like the idea of requiring an ID to buy ammunition. I would gladly accept if they would pass both though. As a side note on the Mississippi law, people born before 1945 aren't required to have an ID. This provision is specifically aimed at the possible issue of elderly black folk who may have been subjected to vote suppression back in the day.
