>Yes but France didn't invade the US, topple it's government and then force >democracy on it did they?
It depends on what you mean by invading and toppling its government. The French did try that in conjunction with the Americans during the American Revolutionary War with its invasion of the American colonies in support of the revolt. They also supplied over 12,000 soldiers headed by Rochambeau in 1779-1780. The net result was a toppling of the current colonial government. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:286363 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
