Oh - I think there might be a "happy" ending - at least for "humanity". But I doubt the actual ship, Galactica, will survive the series. There's going to be a giant, expensive special effects shot of that ship exploding or crashing - I'd bet money on it. I also assume we'll see at least some of our main characters die. Just at a guess I would think that Adama might live - he's been "almost killed" so much killing him would be cliché. Roslynn may die - but seeing her living into old age would be a poignant (if clichéd) ending but my guess is that both of them won't survive. I think we'll see one of them in the future, living out a quiet existence - bittersweet at the salvation of humanity but still regretful at the loss of the other. Baltar's setting himself up for a tragic, but transformative end. But I'm not sure. I also think it's a good chance that Lee will kick it. Simply because "it's something we wouldn't expect". Doesn't that sound like these writers?
