Yeah - the officer I rode with told me about one or two places I might want to go for a "more adventurous" ride-along. I didn't wear a bullet proof vest for my ride, but she said in those areas I would be supplied with one. I was riding in my local neighborhood, which (thankfully) doesn't require a bullet proof vest to drive around in.
