And, uh, in no specific defense of the plan as it were, should we be setting economic policy via a poll? As to tax cuts ... dude .... when all you've got is hammer, every problem looks like a nail. That's your answer to everything and, in this case, they empirically WON'T work. That's not opinion, that's fact: 1.) The last 8 years have been all about tax cuts and we broke the world. 2.) The Bush tax refunds were 80% crap. Did nothing. 3.) This is problem only FSM can fix: we'll need to throw a LOT of spaghetti against the wall and hope some of it sticks. Tax cuts can be part of that spaghetti, but they should be a small part because they're factually NOT stimulative. I'm all for cutting taxes AND cutting spending, but we gotta use all of our tools, not just the hammer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:287850 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
