Thank God surgeons never make mistakes like amputating the wrong limb, leaving instruments in the patient, prescribing the wrong medicine. I will have to agree to some extent that representatives shouldn't vote for everything their constituents want. But it 2 out 3 of a congressman's people do not want something, he or she shouldn't vote. However, in the end, it doesn't matter. The constituents can scream bloody murder all they want. Unless they hold their representatives accountable at the poll, the politicians will continue to do whatever the hell they want to do.
