That would be news to my friends and relatives back in Canada - long waits and 
crappy care. Of all the people I know in BC, Manitoba and Ontario, only one 
ever complained about waits etc. She was a chronic complainer and disliked the 
idea that she had to wait a couple of days to see the doctor.

My own experience, visiting a very sick relative when I was last up there in 
October was that the care was excellent, both at the community (i.e., doctor) 
level and at the hospital.
