A June 2008 Report by the Turkish Prime Ministry's Human Rights Directorate,
says that in Istanbul alone, there is one honour killing every week; and
reports over 1,000 during the last 5 years. It adds that metropolitan cities
are the location of many of these.

But that's Istanbul (not Constantinople) and those were reported events. I
wonder how many are unreported? But if we limit ourselves to the US then you
are probably right. There have not been 4000 honor killings in April 2008.
But if we use the same time span....

But two wrongs do not make a right. No argument on my part past that.
