An annual physical is not being a hypochondriac. It's an annual physical to check your level of healthiness if you would like to look at it that way. It's not going out of your way to find a reason. For heaven's sake.
A woman cannot get a prescription for birth control unless she goes every year or every two years for a full screening. There are no indicators of early stages of cervical cancer. Some cancers are undetectable physically until they have invaded and it's too late. ETC etc. Why take a chance ESPECIALLY since you have health insurance, and the majority of them cover that annual physical 100%? Now to be fair - when I didnt have health insurance, I didnt go every year. But I did go when I could.
