My mother and father divorced when I was very young. I was raised by my mother and stepfather, (who I am generally mean when I say "my parents"). I went to public school until college. I wanted to work in high school so I could have spending money, but my parents would not allow me to work during the school year. They gave me $10 a week to do household chores, which was nice, but I would have preferred to do the household chores for free and earn minimum wage doing a real job. 2.) My parents, although still wealthy, gave away most of their money to charitable causes, and if I happen to make serious money at what I do, I would very much enjoy giving it away, too.
