I like to think I'm smart and perceptive. I like to think I'm a good person (except when I'm evil). I like to think my genes would result in kids something like me. Nope. No luck in that. Sarah Binah, my 22 month old, just fell down the stairs. Moshe, my 11 year old was sitting on the stairs and just could not see her to stop her. None of my kids can see anything past their nose. None of them can think beyond 2 seconds. No thought of planning. No idea about consequences. No thought of environment. No thought at all. We were going to make Hamantashin together and the kids jumped the gun when Judith was off nursing. They did exactly what I said not to do, did it without cleaning off the table and just causing a massive mess with a ton of wasted dough. Action, action, action. Nature? Nurture? Stupidity. My genes have failed, my teaching has failed, my ability as a father has failed. Wonderful.
And as I write this, my continual requests for my 12 year old daughter to get out of my work room is falling on deaf ears. Yes, everyone else here with kids can join in on my lamentations. -- Michael Dinowitz (http://www.linkedin.com/in/mdinowitz) President: House of Fusion (http://www.houseoffusion.com) Publisher: Fusion Authority (http://www.fusionauthority.com) Adobe Community Expert / Advanced Certified ColdFusion Professional Si, soy el senor "chico malo" para todos ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:291027 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
