I'm right there with you. I have 1, just turned 4 and has deaf ears and doesn't know what the word no means. The consequences don't seem to bother her and the wife and I wonder what we are doing wrong.

We were going to make Hamantashin together and the kids jumped the gun when Judith was off nursing. They did exactly what I said not to do, did it without cleaning off the table and just causing a massive mess with a ton of wasted dough. Action, action, action. Nature? Nurture? Stupidity. My genes have failed, my teaching has failed, my ability as a father has failed. Wonderful. And as I write this, my continual requests for my 12 year old daughter to get out of my work room is falling on deaf ears.
