Since we're comparing vehicles ...

I have a 1991 Ford Explorer. Bought it with 110,000 miles in 2003. Put a new
crate engine from Ford in it in 2004 and replaced most of the major
components (alternator, switched the AC over, tires, brakes, etc). It
currently has 129,000+ on it.

19,000+ miles in 6 years.

Yeah, sure could use a transmission servicing - but she does the trick for
drives around town. And she pulls the utility trailer just fine. I shudder
at the thought of a car payment, so unless she completely drops dead, she'll
be around a while longer.

Sorry car companies --- I wont be helping your sales figures. :)
