Not yet, but I will Netflix it someday when I have the energy to watch
something like that.

I read an article that made an interesting over arching argument that
the First World War as a conflict of political dogmas, the Second World
War was a conflict of economic dogmas and that the Third will be
conflict of the religious. Simplified of course, but the author made
good points about some of the basic underlining forces driving the
previous global conflicts.

I have often wondered, usually privately until now, if a lot of the
current uproar from religious groups isn't their death throws to the
realization that a common religion is not society's glue and driving
force for much of humanity that it once was. Those that truly believe
faith is a private matter are probably unfazed by this concept. But to
those that must belong to a group, and the top group at that, this is
can be truly terrifying. Thus they are striking out ever more
forcefully to prevent this evolution.

P.S.
Has anybody else realized that most children currently in grade school
will study World War I as a conflict that occurred over a century ago!
This from a solidly middle age person who clearly remembers meeting
senior citizens and relatives who served in that conflict as a grade
school student himself. Or is it just me feeling old realizing my two
children are such people.
