It must be really simplified. how does WWI be seen as a conflict of political 
dogmas, I thought it was a clash among imperialist systems - British, French 
and Russian Empires against the German, Austrian and Turkish Empires. The 
political dogmas were essentially the same.

It was more like the WWII was the clash among political dogmas - fascism vs. 
"democracies" and an oligarchy.

The Cold War was more of a clash between economic dogmas. All that said, I 
thought the religious wars ended 300 or 400 years ago with the Muslim Turks 
trying to invade Hungary.
