Because I know dozens of hunters, and they are EXTREMELY careful gun owners, and extremely conservative minded individuals. It's amazing how few hunting accidents are reported when you consider how many millions of people are hunting each year in relatively close proximity. It's because these are the responsible gun owners we hear about....the ones who attain licenses and attend gun safety classes and practice conservation and safety.
