As for the hunting the deer, there is a real over population problem in this area, and around many cities in the mainland US. You let them grow enough to breed instead of shooting them before they're old enough, you just making the over population problem worse. Personally I think they should reintroduce wolves throughout the country. That will definitely reduce the deer population. Perhaps that will get rid of some of those annoying toy poodles as well.
