ROFL! Profiling is utterly and completely stupid in the context of stopping organised crimes and terrorism simply because if a group, organisation, or individual actually wanted to commit crimes they would know exactly what NOT to look like. Has it worked to stop the flow of drugs around the world? No.
It is hubris and in many cases simply plays into prejudices because the people espousing such actions are never of the class that is to be profiled.
