'Xactly - Add up the time it took you collect that TB of data and the cost
of a NAS begins to pale a bit (of course that doesn't mean you'll actually
HAVE the money... but the ROI is there).

The cheapest solution right now is probably one of those nifty USB (or
Firewire or ESATA) docking stations - slap in any bare drive (most of them
accept both 3.5" and 2.5" drives) and you have instant external storage.

The docking stations run in the $20-$50 range and you can fine TB drives
(bare) for $90 or so.

Next time I see one cheap I'm going to grab it - I've got a slew of old,
smaller drives that might be useful in spots if I could use them quickly
with no fuss.
