No comparison? I agree. Bush was sitting in the White House during the first mass attack on U.S. soil by a foreign enemy since Pearl Harbor. We had no idea if another attack was imminent, no idea if the enemy would attempt even larger attacks using chemical, biological, or radiological weapons.
In short, Bush was in a far more difficult position after 9/11 than Obama is in now. Obama finds himself in the middle of an economic mess. Bush found himself in a war on our own soil.
