Eh - some guy wrote an essay. Big whoop. As the article states, this was initially suggested by John Maynard Keynes in the 1940s. Hasn't happened in the past 70 years, so I wouldn't count on this happening next week. The article agrees, stating "China has little choice but to hold the bulk of its $2,000bn of foreign exchange reserves in US dollars, and this is unlikely to change in the near future." Nothing is changing overnight. I think it's fine to entertain some notions that might improve global stability, even if it slightly reduces US control over world financial markets. -Cameron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:292615 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
