I would think that is PERFECT for what you're looking for. APC is by far the best in the business and that is the most reasonable price for the length of time Ive ever seen. You used to have to pay $300 for like 10 minutes. Of course there are mixed reviews on the product, but an overall liking of it. Not sure how you'd do better, but then again, I havent looked for a ups/surge protector in years.
