I get a decidedly wry, aching, pit in my stomach sense of humor out of listening to assholes like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh going off about how Obama is coming for your guns, he's got it in for God-fearing Americans and he'll gut the Patriot Act and make the country less safe. What they don't seem to realize is that if Obama were to come for your guns, want to enact retribution on God-fearing Americans, blah blah blah...the Patriot Act is *precisely* how he would do it. He doesn't want to gut the Patriot Act, no way. That's a golden ticket. If Glenn and Rush really gave a rats ass about anything, they would be pushing for the repeal of the Patriot Act because it gives too much power to a dude that they don't trust.
