Hells yeah. You go Robert, hold the president's (this one, at least)
feet to the fire about not prosecuting our interrogators for the use
of torture. This whole "a commanding officer told me to do it, so I'm
not responsible" argument is sad. Personally I think that the
"superiors" should get the lion's share of the punishment; the higher
the position, the more sever the punishment.

Same goes for Obama "supporting" domestic spying. It's total bull.

I don't care that I like this president, it's still wrong.

On a side note: Didn't you like McCain?

How did he feel about water-boarding people?

Your arguments are starting to confuse me-- do you think torture can
be justified, or that it can't? Are you just pissed at Obama because
he's Obama, or because he seems to be upholding the idea that what we
did wasn't /that/ bad (an idea which you yourself espouse quite
often)? See where my confusion is stemming from?

You seem to be arguing that torture is justifiable, but that Obama is
abdicating his responsibility by not prosecuting. If it really is
justifiable, wouldn't his stance make you happy? Why would you want
the poor people who were just trying to protect their country "brought
to justice"?

It's like you /want/ Jack Bauer to be found guilty. He's a *hero*,
you monster! :)p
