But, it's a brutal game and you need to actually drive through Single Player
and buy the cars that will be used in Multiplayer.

For a Party environment, or for just more games in general that have good
two player support I would say a Wii or a Xbox 360 is just much better.

You have a ton of games for the Wii that support two player Split Screen for
different skill levels. Need for Speed Pro Street for example allows two
player gameplay where if one player isn't that good they have simplified
racing controls, whilst the other can have very sensitive normal driving
control. Things like that really make the Wii the choice for having a group
of friends over to game.
