Well, you obviously didn't bother to read the last 2/3rds of my post which was about my concerns that a single payer would have undue influence due to a monopoly on reimbursement rates but how I suspect that it would be a system more amenable to citizen feedback than we'd get with comparable reform incorporating mostly private insurers.
