> It claims to do something iPhone + iTunes already does?

Their app appears to use WiFi to get immediate access to anything in iTunes
and have it played directly on the iPhone headphone jack. The Apple Remote
app lets you control iTunes, but it doesn't stream the music *to* the
iPhone. Anything you want to play directly on the iPhone would have to
already be synched and stored on the device. This app appears to allow you
to play items from iTunes without synching them first. I haven't tried it,
so I could be way off base, but that's my interpretation. I could see this
being useful if you're using the headphones around the house and don't want
to sync your entire collection to the device but still want to have access
to it.
