I think America got it right...well for the 2 they had to choose from... I think Adam has a lot of talent, but his shrieking has grown quite tiresome. When he sings he looks like he is always about to cry, and when he does the 'rock start scream' he looks like he is gagging. I have said it before and will say it again, he often reminds me of Ethyl Murman when he sings.
Kris on the other hand got better as the competition went on where Adam kind of plateaued - which he did early too - though he was still better than a lot of people on the show.
