I'm the other way around.  I'd never bought any american idol tracks  
from iTunes until I bought one of Adams.  Kris is a good singer, but  
he's just more of what's already in the charts.  If a single of his  
came out tomorrow, there's not a high probability that I could  
differentiate him from all the other pop-ish male singers on the radio.

As for constantly screaming......name me one rocker who doesn't?
