You may already have seen this, and it certainly isn't suitable for every company - maybe not for this one either, but Google does offer the "Email Archiving and Discovery - Locate messages in the event of a legal inquiry with a centralized, searchable repository" . According to their marketing materials this includes long term archiving and also the ability to "Place search results on litigation hold to preserve messages beyond their retention periods" http://www.google.com/postini/index.html I don't have direct experience with this part of their product line, but it's interesting. -Cameron -- Cameron Childress Sumo Consulting Inc http://www.sumoc.com --- cell: 678.637.5072 aim: cameroncf email: [email protected] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
