I have done this before, I was a TTY relay operator for a few months at the end of the previous century. I wasn't the fastest typer then and my keyboard skills have diminished in the subsequent decade, but I met the requirements for the position at the time. The last time I checked I can still peak at about 50wpm at least for the short periods of time required for an online typing test. I also probably could not commit too much time with a great deal of frequency or regularity. I do not know whether being on the opposite side of the country would be a help or a hindrance to my assisting you.
