In fact if you hire the most expensive most prestigious management
consulting firms they'll solve your problem within a few hours of
hearing about it ("answer first").
So my general assumption is that anyone who leads with numbers doesn't
understand the problem.
Witness you thinking that finding a list of doctor's salaries will
somehow prove that doctors aren't in it for the money.
If you spend your life on a numberquest you'll always wind up with the
wrong answer.
Spend your time learning to ask the right questions; the numbers are irrelevant.
