We certainly can't do anything since we don't have diplomatic relations and don't recognize their government in the first place; so we can't double remove state recognition. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the open demonstrations won't last longer, but it WILL amount to something. Basically it did with China: the party totally changed and answered all of the beefs the people had. They're still communist, but the way the party operated totally changed as a result. I think that's less easy to do for a leader who claims his power - and choices - are inspired by God. Once people start doubting you you can't re-become God inspired. So, at a minimum, I think they may have China style leadership changes but I also think that Rack-something-jani guy may get control of the military and take over the country.
