Here is how I look at it. He and his handlers had to know that his rep would get tarnished by offering a settlement. I believe that the settlement was offered to keep some of his behavior from becoming public knowledge. Now, what kind of fucked up shit were they hiding that made being thought of as a kid toucher the better option?
