i have to laugh out loud when I read that CNN is pro anything. I have a close family member who is a senior journalist there and her main job to make sure bias in reporting is not happening. Granted she doesn't have much control over live reports from the field, such as the one Bruce mentioned, although I bet she scalded that reporter with a critique of the broadcast after the fact. She also doesn't get much say on the named anchors like Wolf Blitzer or Lou Dobbs, both of whom she refers to as Opinionists, not Journalists.
I used to be a news junkie, but I stopped watching completely in the last year. I figure if something big happens, I'll read it here on the list and can Google it if I want more info. I can't comment on whether or not Fox is biased, as I have never watched more than a couple of seconds of Fox News, just the length of time it takes to find the remote and change the channel. Rupert Murdoch is not someone I want in control of information. On Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 1:06 PM, Zaphod Beeblebrox<[email protected]> wrote: > > Curious....who would that be biased for?
