Well Sam's been so busy reading the intertube propaganda he's lost site of 3 key facts in the reality space: (1.) We don't know *WHAT* the secret program was. Panetta hasn't said. All of Sam's crap is based on propaganda site speculations. (2.) We've been assassinating AQ operatives in allied countries for years. Pakistan for example. (3.) Whatever the program is - even if it was okeedokee - was silenced to Congress by Cheney. That's the illegal part, not the necessarily the program. And, really, hasn't Sam learned after 8 years how this game goes? He defends Cheney on the uppy up and then it turns out Cheney lied. Happens again and again and again. So while WE all know the outcome of this already - Cheney lied - it's still a foggy mystery for Sam. Oops!
