the new suits in the tech dept :( completely changing everything from
CF/Win2K/SQL7 to solaris/java/oracle. unfortunately they are choosing to
ignore CFMX, based on nothing more than sheer bias. ColdFusion isn't
scalable you know (insert gagging noise)

The price scheme is:

125k per processor for production boxes
60k per processor for staging boxes
5k per dev license
+ 18% for support (not an optional)

add Oracle and the cost is well over 500k w/o hardware

everything has to be sun, cisco & oracle.

thanks on the web site - CFExperts has been under construction for about 3
years now :) one of these days..... ha ha ha

Is that 400,000 dollars...for one server?? ATG == Java/JSP with a bunch of
bundled buzzword laden apps right? Seems a long way to go for the same tech
that's in Neo...
Out of curiosity, was it a tech or suit decision?

Love the new website though, I'm a minimalist guy too :)
