If your company is self-insured then the premiums have nothing to do with insurance, they're your company's. As is the denial of coverage, price you pay, etc, etc. If not, to lower your premium the prices doctors charge will have to be lowered which means the government will have to negotiate lower prices with the doctors, labs, durable equip suppliers, et al. As Medicare has taught us, that'll simply lose network doctors or providers will simply order more services and make up for the loss in volume.
