I (theoretically) cleaned of a /badly/ infected machine the other day
with ComboFix.
It's not a tool to play with, but what it does, it does well.
Eventually the machine will be wiped (this one gets re-imaged every 6
months or so anyways, and the network is pretty locked down *shrug*),
as the stuff on it was PURE EVIL, but for now it seems clean.
These guys are getting wily tho. Thank god for the dedicated folks
who fight this stuff all hard-core like. I doubt there's anything
they couldn't fix. Pouring over those logs... wow. Freaking
dedication to the cause.
Props, you log-file-lookers!
