No, you aren't being anal. I was just reading this as well. Unbelievable. As has been mentioned before on that list, an HR person isn't going to touch you if you come across as a trouble maker. The last thing a company wants is someone who likes to engage in "office politics". I like how one of them "ends" the conversation by basicly insulting all of the job seakers on the list .. *sigh*
I'm sure some HR people could look at cf-community and think "omg", but at least here, the discussions are all within context and don't indicate deficiencies in professional work ethics/attitudes. Hey, if they want to knock themselves out of the job market, all the better for the rest of us :) Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jon Hall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, May 02, 2002 9:14 PM Subject: cf-jobs > Ok, maybe I'm being a bit anal, so I thought I'd vent here :) > I follow the cf-jobs list, in the past it was because I just wanted to keep > up on the jobs, and if a decent job came along I may want to jump at it, but > recently more because I know we are going to be hiring.
