My partner was an infant/toddler teacher, so when we looked at what she was making taking care of people's kids versus how much it would cost us to have someone take care of our kid...well, lets just say that she didn't make as much as it would have cost us. So she stays home with Ellie and they have a blast together.
We are considering putting her in a preschool part time as she reaches 3, just because she really really wants to go to school. Its really a tradeoff between the money and the experience for her.
